ハクトウワシ　Bald eagle
以前、紀伊半島の山奥で大変珍しい大きなワシと目の前で出会いました。この時は、大きな翼を広げ、ゆっくりと飛び去っていきましたが、圧倒的な存在感で、あまりに凛々しく、堂々とした姿に見とれてしまったことを覚えています。その時以来、猛禽類の顔はかっこいいと思うようになりました。中でもアメリカの国鳥でもあるハクトウワシは、アメリカを象徴する強い鳥として有名です。このハクトウワシの横顔をレゴで表現してみることにしました。イメージを強調するため、顔がどうしても大きくなりましたので、手のひらサイズに収めるため、今回は胸から上の部分にしています。【1-26-19-1120】
Previously, I met a very rare big eagle at the depths of a mountain in Kii Peninsula.  At this time,the eagle widened its big wings majestically and flew away slowly, but I remember being impressed by the overwhelming presence.  Since then,I have come to think that the faces of raptors are very cool.  Among them, the bald eagle, which is also a national bird of America, is famous as a strong bird that symbolizes America.  I decided to express the profile of this bald eagle by Lego.  In order to emphasize the cool face, the face became a little too big, so this time I expressed with just the face part to fit in the palm size.
